Reliable, dependable, and always open: that is what our 24-hour animal hospital is all about. At AHVEC, we take our jobs seriously and work to provide the best care we can to every animal that comes into our animal hospital, pets and strays alike. We are always here for you and your pet, day or night, 24/7. We are always open, holidays and weekends included, because emergencies never take a break, and neither do we.
We provide the highest quality care to our furry clients with every service possible to treat any pet in any emergency situation. We have two different types of services depending on whether the animal is a pet or a stray. While we will help any animal, we are especially careful to take care of our human clients and our staff when it comes to stray animals.
Our urgent care includes the ability to perform blood chemistry, ultrasonography, electrolyte analyzers, blood gas analyzers, cardiology, radiology, and more. Our state-of-the-art equipment helps us determine what is wrong with your pet quickly and efficiently so we can get them back on their way to feeling like their normal selves. Our experienced veterinarians work to provide the best care for your pets and will treat them as their own. Your furry friend will be in capable loving hands the whole time they’re in our 24-hour animal hospital.
Strays and Wildlife
Strays and wildlife are always welcome at our 24-hour animal hospital and are given the same treatment options as pets; however, strays and wildlife are taken on a case-by-case basis due to limited space and must be released fully to our clinic for care with no ties to the person who brings it in. This is in the best interest of the animal as we have connections to animal habitats and wildlife preserves around North Carolina to ensure the animals can go back to their natural living once they are better.
Our 24-hour animal hospital is located near Walmart on Friendly Avenue, right off of I-73 and between I-40 and Joseph M Bryan Blvd. Once you are off of I-73, you will be at our clinic in five short minutes. We are also near the Friendly Center and Greensboro Coliseum.
Our convenient and easy-to-access location allows us to service more animals in the Greensboro/Kernersville areas. With places nearby to eat and shop, if you are in need of something while you wait for your pet, there are plenty of options near our animal hospital. We know the wait can be hard, but knowing you can go back home to rest or stay close and do something while you wait can help take your mind off how your pet is doing if an emergency operation is needed. Our staff will be sure to call you as soon as we know anything, so you won’t have to wonder when they are done with a procedure or how your furry friend is doing while you are gone. We will be sure to let you know.
