Where is AHVEC located?
Our emergency vet clinic is located right off of I-73 and I-40 on Friendly Avenue by Walmart. With both highways near our clinic, it’s quick and easy to get to our clinic in an emergency situation from either direction. We have a wide variety of restaurants nearby where you can grab a coffee or a late-night meal if your pet will be with us for an extended period of time. You can also pick up a prescription for your pet from the local Walmart if needed.
What services does your 24 hour pet hospital provide?
Our veterinarians are trained and certified in a wide range of medical procedures, including internal medicine, radiology, critical care, cardiology, and more. Our clinic has state-of-the-art equipment for all types of emergency needs, such as ultrasonography, blood chemistry, blood count machines, sound-Eklin digital radiography, and so much more. No matter what the emergency may be, our experienced team at AHVEC is ready and prepared to care for your pet at all hours, day or night.
Are all pets welcome at your emergency clinic?
The short answer is, yes. We help all pets in any situation and take care of them as if they were our own. We know how important your pet is to you, and each of our team members at AHVEC will provide quality care for your pet while they’re with us. From dogs to cats to birds and gerbils, all small pets are welcome in our 24 hour pet hospital.
Can you help stray animals or wildlife?
This is a more complex question than just answering yes or no. While our emergency clinic can provide services to stray animals and wildlife, all rights must be handed over to our clinic before we can do so. If a stray animal or any wildlife is brought in, the good samaritan who helped the animal must give up all rights to the animal to our clinic and know that we cannot provide information on how the animal does. This is for the animal’s protection. Once the animal is better, we can either release it back into the wild or take it to a sanctuary for a safe and happy place to live.
